DS Mohan K.

Managing Director
Mohan is the Managing Director of Adastra. He has accumulated 20 years of solid experience in the Intellectual Property field and has gained extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of patents especially the PCT route and US and European applications.Mohan is a registered patent, trademark, industrial design agent and has won the best patent agent award by the Malaysian Intellectual Property Corporation in 2013. He is listed as a Global Top 1000 IP expert by IAM, an international IP journal publication.

He also sits on a few industry advisory panels including the SME Corp Panel for Entrepreneurship and the Scientific and Economic Council for Malaysia Rubber Board. He has also been invited as an expert speaker for one of the annual National Budget Consultation sessions by the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

Christine Ng

Executive Director & CEO
Christine has been involved in the area of Innovation and Intellectual Property management and strategy, patent analytics and technology landscaping and IP Valuation since 2003.

She works with a team of finance, valuation and IP experts on providing IP valuation, assessment and analytics services to clients, ranging from Malaysian Public Listed Companies, Small medium corporations to start-ups in unlocking the potential of their IP assets for various monetization purposes.

She has managed several technology transfer and commercialisation projects as well as participated in various advisory projects related to large scale technology landscape and assessment programme for investment decisions.

She is currently serving a third term as the Secretary General of the Business Valuers Association of Malaysia (BVAM) and is a member in the Technology Expert Committee with the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).

Hilario Escoro Jr.

Valuation Director
Larry has nine years of experience in business and intangible valuation, financial due diligence, financial modeling, M&A advisory, business case analysis, and external audits. His engagements covered various industries and has worked with international teams from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore. He spent most of his career with Ernst & Young and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Larry graduated from UP Diliman with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy. He scored 91.43% in the Philippines’ Certified Public Accountant licensure examinations and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter.

Dato Dr. Anuar Md. Nor

Senior Valuation Specialist

Dato Anuar is an experienced venture capitalist and had evaluated over two hundred ventures since 1996. He was a CEO of PNB Equity Resources Sdn Berhad and Malaysian Technology Development Corporation. Over the years, he had developed an expertise in the valuation of firms, ventures, technologies and intellectual properties in a number of industries and sectors in Malaysia and Silicon Valley, USA. Dato’ Dr Anuar has both engineering and business backgrounds including an MBA from the University of Bradford, England and MSc in Management of Technology from Sloan School of Management of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Adzli Shamsuddin

Certified Valuer by MyIPO
Adzli is a qualified accountant and his financial expertise is applied in the valuation of intellectual property and intellectual property audit. He provides an independent view on the value and commercial viability of intellectual property to help technology owners make informed decisions.

Adzli was certified as an IP Valuer by the World Trade Institute (WTI), Switzerland, and Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO). En. Adzli Shamsuddin has a BSc degree in accounting from the University of Hull, England. He has obtained his ACCA qualification in 1996 and FCCA in 2003.

Martin Brassell

Martin is the Co-founder and CEO of Inngot, provider of world-first online tools for identification, rating and valuation of intellectual property. We have now identified over $1.1bn of ‘hidden’ value in UK private enterprises.

Thought leader and expert practitioner on the use of IP and intangibles in business finance. Co-author of several independent Government reports on the challenges of identifying, valuing and leveraging intangible assets to obtain debt funding. Co-author with Dr Nicola Searle of ‘Economic Approaches to Intellectual Property’, published by Oxford University Press. Currently writing a second report for OECD.

Successful raiser for equity, debt and grant finance for small and medium businesses. Information services professional with 25+ years’ senior management experience, including private equity backed firms.

Tommy Nguyen

IP Attorney

Tommy Nguyen is an intellectual property (IP) attorney with over 10 years of experience, specializing in IP rights, e-commerce disputes, IP evaluation and corporate law. He holds degrees in Law and Business Administration and is a registered IP attorney with the Hanoi Bar Association, Vietnam Bar Federation (VBF).

 

As an IP Attorney, he has helped establish 100+ companies, 150+ payment gateway accounts, and resolved over 120 IP dispute cases while collaborating with large corporations. He has successfully assisted many Vietnamese technology entrepreneurs in evaluating their IP assets before seed rounds of investments.

 

Earlier in his career, he worked with top-tier IP firms, securing and enforcing IP rights for global corporations such as CVS Pharmacy and Bridgestone.

 

Tommy is the representative of our Valuation division in Vietnam aside from serving as the Director of Adastra IP Vietnam.
